One Glovebox is a personal vehicle document tracker. It lets you:
We provide the tools. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your real-world documents and registrations current and lawful.
Uploading document photos is optional. You can use the Service entirely by typing in information manually (e.g., expiration dates, plate numbers). The app's tracking and reminder features work the same way whether or not you upload photos — the only difference is that without an uploaded photo, you won't have a saved digital copy of that document.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You agree to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that are inactive for extended periods, or where required by law.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
You retain ownership of everything you upload — your vehicle data, documents, and photos are yours.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (including syncing across your devices, running OCR, generating share links you create, and similar core functions). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
We do not use your content to train AI models, sell it to third parties, or use it to advertise to you.
When you create a share link:
The "snap-to-scan" feature uses a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) to extract data from document photos. AI extraction is not perfect — always review auto-filled fields before saving. You're responsible for the accuracy of your records.
The Service is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans in the future (planned: ~$3/month or ~$30/year for premium features such as unlimited vehicles and ad-free use). If you choose a paid plan:

One Glovebox sends reminders about expiring documents as a courtesy. Alerts depend on browser notifications, email delivery, and the data you enter. We don't guarantee timely delivery. Don't rely solely on the Service to avoid expired registrations, lapsed insurance, or missed inspections — those obligations are yours.
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the Service down for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without notice. Your local data (stored in your browser) generally remains accessible offline.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Doing so permanently deletes your data within 30 days (see Privacy Policy).
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if the Service is discontinued, or if continuing to provide service to you would expose us to legal risk. We'll give reasonable notice when feasible.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, missed deadlines, expired registrations, fines, accidents, or any losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and costs arising from (a) your misuse of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) content you upload, or (d) your violation of someone else's rights (including sharing their information without permission).
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@oneglovebox.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
